It's been super busy at SJ Campers over the last few months what with new vans flying in thick and fast, and (ssshh) a new shop website on the way! So much so that we've not had a spare moment to update our wonderful blog.

So here's an update on what's been happening, starting in February 2016:

This VW T5 came in for another of our SCA roof conversions. We also took the time to line it out, fit a new altro floor, put in side and rear windows, black out curtains and a Smartbeds evolution rock and roll bed.

It didn't end there though! We added a 12v/240v Sargent electrics unit with a split charger and leisure battery under the front seat. 

This van is now ready for its new units and appliances to be fitted in a few weeks' time. We'll keep you posted!

We are back after the Christmas break and straight onto finishing the SJ project van. 

This started life as an ex joiner's van and after a full set of rear windows, colour coded bumpers, set of new VW alloy wheels and some roof bars we have sorted the exterior.

Inside we have a Smartbeds rock and roll bed trimmed to match the front seats, Altro floor, a set Evo Design units in 'driftwood', gloss back worktop and removable table, LED light shelf, rear locker and bed boards. A full set of blackout curtains have also gone in as well as 100ah leisure battery with heavy duty split charge, intelligent Sargent electrics with 240v hook up, USB and 12v charge points, touch sensitive LED lights, MV Airo 2 diesel heater, Weaco cr50 power saving fridge and a Smev 9222 hob and sink with pumped cold water supply! Aaaand, relax.

After finishing that little list of jobs we're ready for the next project. Maybe another SCA roof conversion?

This week we also had another very tidy van in for a roof conversion. This time we fitted an SCA 190 Deluxe elevating roof, details:
